Happy New Month!
December the 1st has rolled around extremely quickly hasn’t it? All I can say is thank God almighty because His mercies endure forever.
This morning was an unusual morning for me. I woke up bright and early to a song that had been placed in my heart. I was filled with pure JOY, not because anything had happened to me but because I remembered what JESUS had done for me.
Psalm 40:3 And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.
The words of praise and worship just rolled off my tongue. I can’t remember what exactly I was singing, but I know it was from the depths of my heart because the joy of my salvation was restored to me once more. (You wouldn’t know that I had an exam later on that afternoon!)
We all have a reason to sing unto the Lord, regardless of what situation we may be facing right now. God is great and greatly to be praised!!
Lift up a new song of praise to Him as we see 2016 drawing to a close, and forget not at all the wonderful things he has done this year.
